This website is for the enjoyment of those Kearny High classmates that graduated in 1953 from the greatest High School in San Diego, California. We hope it brings back some fond memories of a very special time in our lives. Most of the pictures, captions, and comments are from our yearbook, the twenty-fifth reunion booklet, our fiftieth reunion booklet, and a compilation of old and new photos provided by our classmates.

To make this website even more interesting and helpful to our classmates, you are encouraged to send us information about yourselves and anything you might know about other classmates (including photos, both vintage and current). We're sure that many of you have wondered about some of your classmates that you might have lost track of over the years. We hope over time, and with your help, we will have a wealth of information about our friends and classmates. 

We have set up a class of '53 directory, and each classmate will have a separate page containing photographs, contact data, and general information. We ask that each of you provide a brief biography of your wanderings and accomplishments over the past fifty years. We have included a special form for you to provide this information....just click here.  We plan to keep the directory information private and it will only be accessible by using a password.  This password will be provided to you once you have identified yourself as a '53 classmate via the information input form.  I'm sure you understand why this information should be kept private.

For your information Kearny High School does have an Alumni Association.  They have a website that is located at www.kearnyalumni.org.  They publish a quarterly news bulletin, and are very active in community affairs.  We urge you to join the Kearny Alumni Association, which is only $10 a year.  For your convenience, we are providing a direct link to their membership page....just click here.
