Class of '53 2012 Luncheon - We
will continue to hold the class luncheons on the second Monday of
every other month.
The luncheons will be at the Sizzler Restaurant on
Murphy Canyon Road at the intersection of Aero Drive and I-15.
Be there at 11:15am.
Bring your spouse, a guest, or just come alone, but please try to
make it. We promise that you'll have a good time. Someone please bring a camera and send the
pictures to Lou Whitney at
lou@kearny53.com so we can add them to our photo albums page.

KHS Golf Tournament
The 2012 KHS Golf Outing is scheduled for Sunday,
June 3rd at Cottonwood Golf Club at 8:00 a.m.
Once again, our goal is to raise funds for the KHS
Alumni Scholarship Program.

the KHS Alumni Association, to reserve your spot. You can also

As always, get a foursome if you can and pass the
info on to friends.
The past few years a growing number of players have
been good enough to help by bringing prizes for the raffle. If
you’re able, that has really helped raise interest in the raffle.

Kearny All Classes Picnic - The 2012 picnic
is scheduled for Sunday, October 7th. This years picnic
will be held at Admiral Backer Field. Click
here for map. The Class of 53 will furnish food for members of
our class. Of course, you are welcome to bring a dish if you wish.
If you live out of town or decide to come at the last minute, you
won't have to worry about bringing food. You might also want to
bring your own chair and a small cooler with your favorite
beverage.

- Ollie Harris suffered a heart
attack on 1/11/12, and had a double by-pass. He came home
on 1/16/12 and is recovering, but still quite weak. Cards and
emails will be greatly appreciated. Address is 15420 Olde
