A DAY AT THE ZOO

Six classmates got together and decided to take a trip to the San Diego Zoo on March 30, 2004.  They were Fred & Janet Schwend, Ollie & Annetta Harris, and Richard & Della Gilliland.  Fred was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the best areas to go to. They rode the sightseeing bus for an informative 45 minute trip.  Walked down to see the panda bears and even caught a small glimpse of baby panda up in the tree. They walked to the Children's Zoo and of course the highlights were eating a great lunch,  and topping it off with frostier. They spent 5 hours at the Zoo and said it was so much fun with good friends and beautiful surroundings. It was
a day of lots of laughter and a cherished time with our dear Kearny classmates
